LAYHAM EVENTS GROUP COMMUNITY GRANT

The Layham Events Group puts on social events in Layham for the enjoyment of the whole community and sometimes these events also raise additional funds. The LEG Community Grant is designed to help community groups, clubs, societies, and voluntary organisations looking to undertake a project, purchase an asset or run/start an activity for the benefit of the Layham residents.

The recent Layham Jubilee Fete raised £3400 for the Community Fund. The fund is now open for applications. If you are a community group, club, society, voluntary organisation, an individual or neighbours trying to set up a group, looking for funding for projects, asset purchases or to run/start an activity for the benefit of Layham residents we want to hear from you.

What will the grant fund?

The grant is designed to help community groups, clubs, societies, and voluntary organisations in Layham for a project, activity, or asset.

How much can I apply for?

Grants are available up to the value of £500.

Formally Constituted Groups

Community Groups/Associations – including groups of neighbours

Social Enterprises

An individual trying to set up a group

Please place your completed application form in the Village Hall post box addressed to Sue Dodson, LEG Treasurer, by 5th September 2022. These will be reviewed on 9th September by members of the group (all members reviewing the applications will have no pecuniary interest in the applications). You will be advised by 16th September if your application has been successful.
