Layham Village Hall is run by a Management Committee comprising of Richard Cranfield, Chairman; Jan McNelly, Secretary; Judith Hermite, Treasurer, Rosey Nicholls, Bookings Secretary; Colin Brown, Christine Hempstead, Sue Keeble, Laurence Nicholls and Rosemary Daunt (Ladybirds).

Village Hall interiorThe village hall has been recently refurbished and is regularly maintained. The toilets have been updated and there is disabled access. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, 2 fridges, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and glasses. The hall’s maximum capacity is 70 people. Two sizes of tables are available and part-upholstered chairs. This photo is the hall set for the Coronation Tea Party of King Charles III & Queen Camilla.

The hall is ideal for parties, receptions, talks and meetings - parking can be arranged.

Regular groups include - Coffee mornings/Social Club, Dance Class (for children), Ladybirds Toddler Group, Yoga, Pilates. The current hire charge (2023) is £10 per hour
